Bogesunds Slott Bröllop
In an old, stately castle named Bogesunds Slott, surrounded by their closest loved ones Johan & Ana said “I do.” Their wedding day really was like something out of a movie… partly because their wedding venue was a film set & mostly because of how incredible they are! From their gorgeous peony bouquets to the idyllic venue it was truly incredible.
It was a huge honor for me to shoot their bröllop. Johan has actually been my photo assistant for 10 years now. When he asked me to be his photographer, I didn’t take the honor lightly. It’s a huge privilege to photograph another photographer! It was an even bigger privilege to photograph someone I know, respect, and look up to myself.
Together Johan & Anna created a day so personal & so authentic to who they are. It wasn’t a traditional wedding in a lot of ways, but for them, it was immeasurably better.
One of their goals was to incorporate their personalities & family in ways most couples don’t. For one, their children were their bridesmaids. It was so special for them to have them be such a huge part in their ceremony. I love how it brought on a whole new meaning to bridal party photos too. Those shots are some of my favorites because I know how much it meant for them to have them there.
Another fun part of their wedding day was Johan knew he wanted to be wearing denim! The classic tux feel just didn’t fit his personality so he and his brother wore Indigofera Jeans. It made the day feel fun & unique! Plus, it put Johan at ease knowing he was being true to himself.
Johan & Anna’s day will forever remain a favorite of mine for all these reasons and so many more. Boesunds Slott is an amazing wedding venue, full of amazing photo opportunity’s. I am so thankful they allowed me to play a small part in their wedding & I can’t wait to see what amazing things they do together.
