Vaxholms Kastell – en perfekt arena för stora event . Thanks Pernilla for reminding me about Vaxholm Castle , in a way this was one of my first destination weddings and certainly a fave . Megan and Tobias ‘s wedding became the first none UK couple appearing in UK ‘s Wedding magazine . So i was a very proud wedding photographer ,Vaxholm Castle is one of Stockholm premier wedding venues and recommended for brides and grooms everywhere.

Pingst = Bröllop = weddings

Saturday’s wedding we hit temperature highs, the sun shines and the wonderful warmth outside. For Jenny and Stefan we had incredible weather, you would of thought it was Pingst this past weekend I saw four brides in an hour .. luckily I was only the wedding photographer at one of them. Now it is Pingst weekend again this coming Saturday the weekend of weddings in sweden pingst weekend. The big wedding week.

Såstaholm Bröllop

Såstaholm I always think as the Hollywood of Stockholm I have always loved Såstaholm as I spent 17 years of my life in the movie capital Los Angeles . But this is not Hollywood its Täby . The wedding venue was known as “Höstsol” (Autumn Sun) for 60 years . A famous residence for many of Swedens old actors and actresses, after they retired from the theater stages.
This weekend was Henrik and Louise s turn to appear in starring roles in their wedding . Cars with custom plates and retro cars took a supporting role.

wedding in Lund

Lund has become my second home it feels like, but having a wedding in Lund is a fantastic backdrop for wedding photos, the church , the streets and wedding venues perfect for a wedding photographer. I look forward to my next visit in the summer. Getting there from Stockholm is so easy. With great internet connections on the trains in Sweden some of the uploading of wedding photos are already done before arriving in Stockholm.
