Planning a wedding in Stockholm

While it may not seem the most obvious setting for an overseas wedding, the Swedish capital of Stockholm has a lot going for it. Using a Stockholm wedding planner or not some tend to think of Stockholm as always being a little cold, thus an ideal setting for a winter wedding, but with the sun shining eighteen hours a day on this beautiful city in the summer months it really is sublime. Not as hot as some destinations like Greece or Italy granted, but every bit as stunning,  and Sweden has the land of the midnight sun. So your Stockholm will have some sunshine.

There are plenty of stunning locations around Stockholm to give you a Scandinavian dream of a wedding. From the ancient to the ultra modern, the choice is yours. If your ideal Stockholm wedding location is olde world, rustic and by a glorious lake then check out  Stallmästaregården.  Literally on the edge of Stockholm,This glorious treat is the home of Princess Victoria and the whole setting with the lake and grounds is a photographers dream. Getting the royal seal of approval for your wedding doesn’t happen very often but is the order of the day at Stallmästaregården.

There is an ethereal feel about the Villa Källhagen which makes it perfect for those seeking an informal wedding that is very much back to nature. Located by the sea, the photographic opportunities here are endless, absolutely gorgeous. The tranquil outdoor setting has to be seen to be appreciated, and there’s even a chance for a bit of star spotting as ABBA’s Benny Andersson lives just around the corner.

To make the most of these venues and show them off to their very best in your album nothing less than a top end photographer will do. Wow look at this wonderful cake , yep one of the best and you know why because the grooms mum made the cake , and will all know mums always do the best wedding cakes in the world .  The daisy , the ” she loves me she loves me not daisy ” was a personal  touch just for the bride and groom.

the ring bearer

Ring Bearers are often nephews or young brothers and in special cases their own children .  Well this was a special case it was Stewart and Tiina ‘s boy almost  symbolic the ring bearer carries  a large white satin pillow , with the wedding rings tied to the pillow . Tiina and Stew had forgotton the pillow , but the Finska Church in Stockholm helped out . Jesper thought it would be better  to play with the rings until the ring exchange .  Perhaps wedding jewellers in stockholm should provide wedding pillows  with all their rings.

Ja detta var ett speciellt fall var det Stewart och Tiina är pojke nästan symboliska ringen budet bär en stor vit satin kudde, med ringar bundna till kudden. Tiina och Stew hade Forgotton kudden, men Finska kyrkan i Stockholm hjälpte till. Jesper trodde det skulle vara bättre att spela med ringen tills ringen utbyte. Kanske bröllop juvelerare i Stockholm bör ge bröllop kuddar med alla sina ringar.
